Tour Guide Tuesday: Edley's BBQ

A tribute to all things southern is the tag line of this new BBQ joint in 12 South, and the description fits it perfectly.  I was spoiled in Memphis by all of the tasty pits across town, and Edley's is a breath of fresh BBQ air that Nashville needed!

12 South is a trendy neighborhood just a few blocks from Belmont and is home to several Nashville original restaurants and shops.  It is a young hipster neighborhood and you can always find something new to see or try.
One thing I am most excited for at Edley's is warm weather!  They feature great patio seating to sip your local brew from a mason jar.  Great prices, a young crowd and delicious food will keep you craving Edley's, and you heard it here first, Edley's is the best BBQ in Nashville!

Tips for Edley's
1. They are closed on Tuesdays, so get your fill the other 6 days of the week.
2. Try the BBQ nachos, they are a unique twist on an old favorite of mine with fresh pico and homemade chips!
3.  Walk up to the counter when you walk in, Edley's is an order-at-the-counter restaurant, not an order-at-the-table place.
4.  Don't miss the bar, it is not at the main counter, but to the right when you walk in.  Try the Hap and Harry brew from Lynchburg!
