Cruise Recap: I'm On A Boat!

Last week was simply fantastic.  Great company, great food, great adventures.....I couldn't be happier with the trip.  My parents, JK and I jumped aboard the Carnival Freedom Ship in Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday morning and set out for a 6 night cruise to Key West, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios, Jamaica.  Previously, JK and I took a 3 night cruise to Bahamas, but felt like the 7 day/6 night gave us SOOO much more time to relax and enjoy the ride.

Here are a few stats on the Carnival Freedom:
Capacity: 2974
Crew On board: 1150
Length in Feet: 952
Built in 2007

The boat was complete with a gym, spa, plenty of bars and entertainment venues, a casino, pools, hot tubs, 24/7 dining, fabulous food served in the main dining room, putt-putt, shops on board, adult only relaxing deck, and a huge projector screen on the main deck for movies.  The service was impeccable, the ship was extremely clean, and we never ran out of things to do!  AND we picked the perfect week to go because most kids are back in school and we missed the hurricane by a day.

Pictures won't do it justice, but here are a few to give you an idea of the fun on the Freedom.
